Failed to fetch kickstart from satellite

Oct 21, 2012 · I'm building a new store using commerce kickstart 2. I'm using the default theme currently (which might I add is quite impressive) but I need to make many changes to it. Should I be doing this via CSS through a child theme? Can someone walk me through creating a child theme for this? I don't seem to be able to get it.
